Erik Knowles is a Houston-based touring stand-up comedian and winner of the World Series of Comedy, known for sharp observations, honest storytelling, and a confident stage presence built through decades of professional performance.
A long-running headliner at L.A. Comedy Club in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Erik has been consistently rebooked to perform for ticket-buying audiences in clubs, casinos, theatres, and special-event settings nationwide. His comedy is audience-aware, adaptable, and designed to work for mixed crowds without sacrificing point of view.
Erik has headlined comedy clubs across the country, including the Loony Bin Comedy Club circuit, and has been featured on Fox’s Laughs, Hulu’s Comedy Brew, and VetTV’s Mandatory Fun. His experience performing in high-stakes environments has made him a trusted, professional booking choice for venues where timing, tone, and reliability matter.
In addition to stand-up, Erik has toured internationally with Armed Forces Entertainment, performing overseas for U.S. service members, and has completed multiple stateside military tours. He is also the creator of Combat 2 Comedy, a Department of Defense–contracted program developed in partnership with the U.S. Air Force that teaches wounded warriors storytelling techniques to help process trauma and reduce isolation through creative expression.
Erik’s work has earned him the Best Comedian Award at the Veteran’s Choice Awards, and his unique combination of comedy experience and real-world impact continues to resonate with audiences nationwide.
